Gold and Bronze at the Gold Leaf Awards Competition 2026
We are proud to have won Gold and Bronze at the 2026 FSEA – Foil & Specialty Effects Association Gold Leaf Awards Competition during the Print Embellishment Conference in Nashville.
🥇 Gold for our Gietz New Year Greeting Card 2026 in the category Best Use of Refractive (micro-etched) Foil - finished with utmost precision using the Gietz FSA 870 Compact.
The areas of the image were filled with lines at different angles (0°, 45° left, 45° right, 90°) to create a micro-embossing effect. Only one foil color was used, which appears lighter or darker depending on the direction of the lines.
The card's design symbolizes partnership through interlocking gears, representing collaboration and teamwork.
🥉 Bronze for our Gietz Vodka Label in the category Best Use of Foil/Embossing Label (Self Promotion).
Did you know that the award-winning vodka label was produced in a single pass using the multistroke method on our Gietz ROFO 450 ECO—without any printing at all?
These beautiful labels are a distinctive feature of a local distillery product made from Swiss blue potatoes, which give the vodka its unique colouring.
