Gietz employees complete the first-aid course
At Gietz AG, the health and safety of employees is a top priority. For this reason, Gietz AG organized a company paramedic course for employees in collaboration with the Gossau Samaritan Association. This course provided comprehensive training on how to act correctly in emergency situations - crucial knowledge that can save lives in an emergency.
Twelve employees volunteered to take part in this life-saving course. They were trained in dealing with various emergency situations such as unconsciousness, burns or deep cuts. For example, they learned the FAST scheme for suspected strokes, how to apply a pressure bandage correctly and how to carry out CPR measures.
"We have learned a lot and at the same time hope that we never have to use this knowledge." We are aware that we are not professionals, but as the quote says: "Doing nothing is wrong."
A big thank you goes to the Gossau Samaritan Association, who taught employees important first aid skills as part of the company paramedic course.
