Two days full of practice, exchange and new knowledge
Last week was workshop time at Gietz - together with our partners LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co.KG and Hinderer + Mühlich.
A mixed group from various departments – from Sales and Engineering to our Service Technicians, spent two days immersed in the world of hot stamping. It was a valuable opportunity, especially for many new team members, to deepen their knowledge of our technologies.
We learned more about the hot stamping transfer products from LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co.KG - originally founded as a gold leaf manufacturer - and about the brass stamping tools from Hinderer + Mühlich that are used worldwide. Exciting: The brass used for this comes exclusively from Göppingen, Germany and is 100% recyclable, including chips.
Theory meets practice:
On our Gietz FSA 870 Compact, the participants were able to use the embossing tools directly in the honeycomb base and learn different ways to achieve the perfect result. A big thank you to Alexander Müske and Fabian Pfeil for their competent and practical instruction!
The film qualities and their interaction with the paper used were also analyzed in detail - clearly and extensively explained by Jens Niemann. Because every detail counts when it comes to precision.
Of course, culinary highlights were also included: pizza during the lunch break, and a cozy fondue evening in the Gietzeria rounded off the first day.
Many thanks to everyone who made this workshop possible and to all participants for taking part, learning and sharing!
