Snow day 2023 in the Flumserberge
21 employees of the Gietz company signed up for the sporty team event in the Flumserberge. On Saturday, February 18, 2023 the time had come. The day started early and we were full of anticipation. Our equipment was complete and the car from Kobler Transporte Gossau was also ready at the departure point.
During the 1.5 hour drive we were well served with coffee and croissants. Some were already full of energy, the others used the time for a short sleep. When we reached Tannenheim, the sun was already there and we could hardly wait to hit the slopes or start the hike.
Off to the slopes!
The skiers divided into groups and already the first were on the chairlift.
The hikers also started the route and walked about 330 meters in altitude to the Prodalp restaurant. Here one likes to take a break and enjoy the beautiful landscape and the sunny weather.
The winter sports area Flumserberg offers unique panoramic views of the mountain chain Churfirsten and the mountain Spitzmeilen.
At lunchtime we met at the Chrüz restaurant. For refreshment we had a mixed salad or "rösti", accompanied by a cool beer or a glass of wine.
After lunch we went on. The skiers skied up and down a few more times, despite the slowly slushy snow.
The hikers walked down towards the valley station.
Mmmh Fondue!
In the late afternoon we all met back downstairs to finish the day with a fondue dinner together. Mmmh fondue!
It was a nice end to the day and we had a great time, laughed a lot and enjoyed the time
